Diploma in Retail Management prepares students with knowledge and skills in the area of retail management to assist higher-level managers in managing both large and small retail operations. This programme also will develop individual’s analytical and specialized skills of the functional aspects in retailing through the use of active learning and 4 months duration of industrial training that they will be having on the semester 7.
The objective of this programme is to make sure that students will be able to capture theory and practice of retail management. Moreover, this program also will ensure students will be able to manage various retail functions and operations such as store operations, merchandising, marketing, advertising and promotion, customer relations, managing people, inventory control, finance, and supply chain, as well as grow the business.
SPM / O-Levels / UEC or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits. Applicants who possess other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
